Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve seen the gingham print that has been everywhere (in the fashion world). It’s a fun print that reminds me of a picnic lunch in the park. Couldn’t be more reminiscent of summer! I’ve seen this print styled just about every way and I love how creative people are with it.
So for this outfit post, I had actually just parked in the garage of this plaza on our way to watch Wonder Woman. My sister and I had some time to kill before the movie started and we did some outfit shots (props to her for putting up with me!). I recently purchased this gingham skirt with ruffles in the front and I love the texture the ruffles add to it. I wore a light scoop-neck white tee. The light jacket I brought with me was mainly because movie theaters tend to be cold (it happened to serve as a nice blanket during the movie). I’m sure I’m not the only one who does this! 😛 The movie theater is actually really nice so I didn’t want to be too, too casual, but I still wanted to be comfortable.
The purse I wore is a new one I got from Akira. It reminds me of the Chloe bags with the chain and ring detailing but mine is the budget option. I love how feminine and chic it is. So college students, if you love the Chloe bags but can’t afford it at the moment, go with this budget option!
So that was my movie theater look inspired by the summer gingham trend:) How are you guys styling this print? I would love to know in the comments below!
P.S. Wonder Woman was amazing, I give it 5 stars if anyone is wondering:)
