This past week was Spring break, woohoo! Well, to be honest now that I’m an adult and working a lot more it doesn’t quite feel like a break. But I still had one extra day off so I took full advantage. I went to a local Japanese garden to rest my mind a bit. The garden takes you through a loop around a lake. Towards the end, there’s this little house where each room describes some part of the Japanese culture. I was so intrigued and it fed my wanderlust even more! I would love to one day see the cherry blossoms in Japan and learn more about its beautiful culture.
In the midst of the Floridian weather, I opted for shorts from one of my favorite denim brand. The white top I was wearing is from Zara. I’ve been really into Zara lately and they always seem to be on top of their game. The asymmetrical feature has been seen in fashion shows quite frequently for S/S 2017. Definitely worth a try to changes things up a bit. Also a major trend this season is the poplin top (Not to be mistaken for peplum). I’m so into the different type of cuts made from an otherwise simple top. Even if the top is one solid color, it becomes a lot more interesting with the different shapes and edges. That’s why I was drawn to this top when I saw it at the store!
Anyhow, it is no longer Spring break and class starts soon so I’ll be back shortly:)
